Disability Rights New York

  • Direct, produce, and edit emotionally compelling short-form documentaries in which two were accepted into film festivals

  • Edit and produce the weekly podcast series, Empire State of Rights: Closed Captioned, which was listed as a “20 Best Podcasts about Disability Rights in 2021” by Pretty Progressive

  • Establish a visual media format to create a recognizable brand that meets accessibility standards

  • Boosted DRNY's YouTube Channel subscribers by 436% over the course of 4 years

  • Support 64 professionals across three office locations with all marketing media requests, including: video production, graphic design, and photography

Visions Film Festival & Conference

  • One of seven department leaders to develop the two-day, undergraduate-run, international event which hosted approximately 850 attendees and 45 filmmakers, scholars, and ‘visionary’ panelists

  • Managed a team of six staff members responsible for all promotional campaign materials, including: social media graphics, website, animations, posters, badges, swag, event programs, and DVD

• Developed an outreach strategy for a successful film festival run with 12 total acceptances out of 21 submissions

• Created a crowdfunding  production campaign that raised  67% over the original goal

• Conducted project research for proper interview subjects, required permits, and b-roll footage relevant to the documentary

• Administrated a film crew and scheduled weekly meetings to discuss the development & progress of the documentary from preproduction to postproduction

• Managed written and graphic Social Media content (Facebook page, Website, Indiegogo)

• Budgeted filming expenses, travel, Indiegogo contribution perks, film festival submission fees, and printed materials (Posters and DVDs).
